The assessments

With Resolution 40/04 of March 18, 2004, ARERA established the procedure and obligations necessary to ensure the safety of gas systems employed by the final user

ASSESSMENTS 40/2014
Resolution 40/04 of March 18, 2004 (Regulation of activities to ascertain the safety of gas utility systems) applies to gas-fired systems by means of networks, excluding those intended to serve industrial or artisanal production cycles.

For the purpose of ensuring safety, the procedure requires methane gas distribution companies to make documented verification that the utility plant has been built in compliance with current technical standards.

The Gas and Electricity Authority has issued a regulation to preserve public safety, requiring all gas distributors to carry out the assessment, for safety purposes, of new documents provided for the activation phases of new gas network connections. The new forms prepared by the Energy and Gas Authority are available at the Cogeser Points or can be downloaded directly from the website. Templates should be chosen according to the type of plant.
